PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Introduction:

Mullite bricks are high alumina refractory products with mullite (3Al2O3·2SiO2) as the main crystal phase. The products are divided into sintered mullite bricks and fused mullite bricks. Sintered mullite bricks are mostly made of synthetic mullite clinker and high alumina bauxite clinker as raw materials through batching, high-pressure molding, and high-temperature firing. The firing temperature is above 1600°C. 

Features:

The product has good high temperature performance, high refractoriness under load, low creep rate under high temperature, good thermal shock resistance, small thermal expansion coefficient, and acid slag erosion resistance.

Applications:

Mullite bricks are commonly used in hot blast furnaces for ironmaking at a high temperature above 1200℃, parts and slag lines of torpedo cars impacted by molten iron, roof of steel-making electric arc furnaces, ceramic industrial furnaces, regenerator arches and superstructures of glass melting furnaces, cement lining and rotary kiln lining, etc.
