PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Introduction
Sialon bonded corundum brick is a premium high-temperature refractory brick. It is formulated with high-purity fused corundum, industrial silicon powder and alumina powder as the main raw materials, and manufactured through high-temperature sintering and nitriding solid solution reaction. With a stable Sialon bonding phase formed inside the brick body, this product delivers superior high-temperature performance, chemical stability and structural durability compared with traditional corundum bricks.
Features
Excellent High-Temperature Structural Stability
The brick maintains exceptional hot strength under long-duration high-temperature operating loads. It features ultra-low high-temperature creep deformation and excellent structural rigidity, with no softening, deformation or collapse even at extreme working temperatures up to 1700°C, ensuring stable furnace operation for a long service cycle.
Superior Thermal Shock Resistance & Anti-Spalling Performance
Thanks to its low thermal expansion coefficient and unique interlocking crystal microstructure, the brick can effectively disperse and relieve instantaneous thermal stress caused by drastic temperature fluctuations. It resists cracking, peeling and spalling under frequent cold and hot alternation, greatly improving the overall stability of the furnace lining.
Outstanding Slag Penetration & Corrosion Resistance
The Sialon bonding matrix possesses excellent chemical inertness. It can effectively resist corrosion and penetration from alkaline slag, molten iron, non-ferrous metal liquid and CO gas, preventing internal structural damage caused by medium infiltration and erosion, and significantly extending the service life of refractory linings.
Applications
Sialon bonded corundum bricks are widely applied in harsh high-temperature industrial furnace conditions, especially suitable for high-wear and high-corrosion working areas. Typical application scenarios include:
Severe-duty blast furnace ceramic cup linings
Blast furnace stack lower section, furnace belly and furnace bosh
Other heavy-duty high-temperature industrial kilns requiring superior thermal stability and corrosion resistance
